Legends of the Samurai: The Escape from the Haunted Lands

Set in a legendary Japan of restless ghosts, mischievous spirits, hungry demons, and merciful kami, this adventure centers on honor, ritual, tradition, and swordsmanship. It begins a ten-part campaign in which the characters seek to avenge their master's death and restore his son and heir to his rightful place. Designed as an introduction to Japanese-themed adventures, the scenario features encounters drawn from traditional folktales and ghost stories. A collection of seven classic tales provides additional background on Japan's folklore for the game master and players.
