A computer edition of a long-running squad-level tactical wargame that covers conflicts from the 1930s to the present. Players control squads, weapon teams, vehicles and air support, managing leadership, special skills and individual specialists while reacting to scenario-based objectives and random events. The digital version supports solo and online play, offers additional scenarios, and automates bookkeeping and rules enforcement to speed play. The game uses an impulse system for fast-paced tactical turns and focuses on close-quarters decision-making, morale effects and combined-arms coordination.
