Merchants Cove: The Dragon Rancher

Players run a multi-generational dragon ranch, managing young dragons that need specific food, space to grow, and constant maintenance. Gameplay mixes bag-building with a mancala-style placement system: players draw food tokens from a bag and place them onto a personal board one by one to create feeding trails. As food is placed, hatchlings follow the trails and grow, changing their needs and value; feed management, barn layout, and growth sequencing determine success. The game emphasizes engine development through token circulation, spatial planning on the ranch board, and timing of growth actions.
