Mint Works

Players build a compact mint by acquiring and constructing plan cards that grant victory points or ongoing abilities. Each turn, players assign a limited number of mint tokens to actions that gain more tokens, claim initiative, purchase plans, or activate effects from built plans. The game uses simple worker-placement decisions and a small, portable component set. Play ends when a player reaches a point threshold or the plan supply cannot be refilled; the player with the most points from constructed plans wins.

Regelspørgsmål

Besvaret ud fra regelbogen af Ludoyas regelassistent.

Can I place more than one worker on the same Mint Placement Space?

No — you must choose an unoccupied Mint Placement Space and place the required mint coins to gain that Location’s effect; occupied spaces cannot be used (page 7).

If I pass, do I immediately get mint coins or other benefits?

Passing simply ends your turn; when all players consecutively pass the Development phase ends and during Upkeep each player gains one mint coin and other upkeep steps (refill plans, resolve upkeep, collect Deed coins, return tokens) are performed (pages 7–8).

What if we run out of physical Mint Tokens?

The Mint Supply is not limited — if you run out of tokens, use extras (for example from the Supplier) so you don’t empty any spaces; functionally mint coins are unlimited (page 5).

What happens when I build a Deed plan?

When you build a Deed-type Plan the corresponding Location is flipped to its open side and you become the Owner so it can be used like any other Location; during Upkeep Owners collect any mint coins on Deed Locations (pages 18 and 8).

How is the winner determined and what are the tiebreakers?

Count the total stars from Buildings in each player’s Neighborhood — the most stars wins; ties are broken by smallest Neighborhood (fewest Buildings/Plans), then most circles, then age closest to 42 (page 9).
