Pathfinder Core Rulebook (2nd Edition)

This 640-page core rulebook presents the rules, character options, and guidance for running and playing a tabletop fantasy roleplaying game. Players build characters by choosing ancestries (such as elf, dwarf, goblin, halfling, gnome, and human with variant heritages), backgrounds, and one of a dozen classes, then customize them with feats, spells, and abilities. The book also collects combat, magic, skill, and treasure rules, plus advice for Game Masters on running adventures and adjudicating play. Rules are organized to support both new players and long-term campaigns, offering streamlined mechanics alongside a wide range of tactical and character-building choices.
