Pea Ridge: St Louis, then Huzzah!

This game portrays the 1862 Battle of Pea Ridge, where Earl Van Dorn leads Confederate forces in an attempt to drive Sam Curtis’s Union army from northern Arkansas. After a difficult march around the Union position, exhausted Confederate troops face a well-entrenched opponent. Using the Musket & Saber system, players maneuver infantry, artillery, and cavalry, coordinate leaders and special units, and protect their headquarters and supply lines. Infantry withstands sustained combat, artillery can break attacks but is vulnerable, and cavalry supports reconnaissance and pursuit. Weakened units may rout, while reserves and careful concentration of force are essential to securing key positions.
