Polterdice

In a haunted mansion, players race their meeples up staircases to claim treasures hidden by the ghosts. Each turn, eight dice are rolled and combined into pairs to determine which staircases can be climbed and how far each meeple moves. When a meeple reaches the top of a staircase, its player claims treasure and may challenge the mansion’s ghosts for additional rewards. If the challenge fails, other players on that staircase have the opportunity to win. Players must decide how to allocate each roll among their meeples throughout the mansion.

It's embarrassing that the designer tries to link this game to Can't Stop. What makes Can't Stop enjoyable is the push-your-luck aspect, not the grouping of dice into pairs. That's what gives Can't Stop interesting choices. This game has no interesting choices. Awful game.

Very, very light and lucky - but fun. See my review for details - but realize that my opinion of the game has come down recently, it's not quite so fun anymore.
