Renaissance Wars

Renaissance Wars is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 45–90 minutes and is meant for ages 12 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 2.

Set during the Renaissance, the game explores an era of wealth, religious conflict, territorial wars, artistic innovation, and exploration. Players take the roles of influential historical figures, each with unique powers, cards, and player boards, and compete against up to three opponents for the wealth and power needed to dominate successive eras. Event and Intrusion cards are randomly included during setup, introducing unexpected changes that can disrupt established plans and shift the balance of power. The base set includes six playable figures, including William Shakespeare, Martin Luther, Filippo Brunelleschi, Ignatius of Loyola, Christopher Columbus, and Francis Bacon.
