Rook

Rook

A trick-taking partnership game that uses a numbered-color deck and a special high card that always wins. Players bid each hand for the right to name the trump color and must meet their bid to score. Play proceeds like Whist: players must follow the color led when possible, may play trump when void, and the highest card of the lead color wins unless trumped. Only certain cards (specific point-scoring ranks and the special card) count toward the partnership’s score, so trick-taking focuses on capturing those count cards rather than on trick totals. Variants support two- and three-player play and common house rules alter deal and scoring.

I've been playing Rook my whole life. I'd rather play bridge or euchre.
