Smash Up: 10th Anniversary

This edition adds a new Big Base mode, new factions, and assorted anniversary components. Players still draft and play faction decks of minions and actions to contest scoring locations, but the single central base is divided into four sides with three slots each. Each side functions like a separate base for card effects while sharing the revealed base card power, and slots provide passive or “on occupation” abilities. When moving or playing cards to the Big Base, players choose a side and place all their cards on a single slot for that side; a virtual fourth slot exists in four-player games. The Big Base variant fixes the game to three scoring periods of three rounds each (nine rounds total).
