Normally you may play one minion and one action on your turn; cards can give you an extra minion or action for that turn, but extras granted by a Special must be played immediately or not at all (pages 3, 6).

If I move a minion to another base, does its 'when played' ability trigger?

Accepted Answer

No — moving a card does not count as playing it, and minion abilities that trigger on play do not occur when a minion is moved (pages 3, 6).

Question 3

Someone used a 'before' Special to drop power under a base's breakpoint — does that stop the base from scoring?

Accepted Answer

No — once scoring for a base has begun you finish scoring it even if the total power later drops below the breakpoint (page 4).

Question 4

What happens if players tie for first or second place on a base?

Accepted Answer

Players tied for the best position each receive the points for that position; subsequent positions are adjusted or skipped (e.g., two players tied for first both get first-place points and the next player gets third-place points) (page 5).

Question 5

Do action cards with Ongoing abilities get discarded after play?

Accepted Answer

Actions are discarded after resolution unless they have an Ongoing ability, in which case the Ongoing effect remains active while that card remains in play (pages 3, 6).

Question 6

If multiple players want to use Specials at the same time, who resolves them first?

Accepted Answer

Start with the current player and proceed clockwise; go around until all players pass in sequence, and if you pass but another player then uses a Special you may still use yours afterward (page 4).
