Tabannusi: Builders of Ur

Set in ancient Mesopotamia, players act as builders developing the city of Ur by expanding construction sites, establishing buildings, and earning the king’s favor. The board is divided into five color-linked regions (three building districts, one temple, one port). Each turn a worker activates a district by taking a same-colored die; that die becomes a colored resource and its face value determines which district the worker will activate next. Players spend actions to expand influence in districts, complete buildings for victory points, gain temple benefits, and acquire ships in the port with scoring effects. When a district runs out of dice, a scoring round occurs, so players must manage resources and timing throughout the game.
