Tales of the Caliphate Nights

A roleplaying game set during the Golden Age of Islam, drawing on the stories of the Thousand and One Nights. Heroes travel across the Caliphate, from North Africa and Arabia to Persia, India, and beyond, encountering djinni, fantastical locations, dangerous menaces, and the cultures of the region. Players create and guide their own heroes through adventures, while the Narrator presents the setting and challenges. The Conviction system allows players to shape their characters’ tales and influence events, while also giving the Narrator opportunities to take on a role within the story.
