The Apology

A solo, realistic interactive adventure follows a university sophomore dealing with resentment toward an adopted, alcoholic stepfather and concern for the parent left at home. After taking a free DNA test and bringing the results home for Thanksgiving, the character returns to school to discover that the report has been stolen. Returning to the empty family home, the character searches for the missing results and uncovers what else may have been hidden there. The adventure uses the FUDGE roleplaying system, with abilities such as Memory, Composure, and Will, and includes the relevant rules. Play requires pencil, paper, and four six-sided dice; FUDGE dice are optional.
