The Comprehensive Guide to Board Wargaming
A comprehensive introduction to the board wargaming hobby, circa 1977. It covers the basics of wargaming, strategic and tactical principles, political and economic affairs, and approaches to winning. The final chapter presents a four-turn replay of SPI's Nordlingen. A 63-page section provides capsule descriptions of more than 275 wargames. Appendices include answers to six analytical wargame situations, period useful addresses, and unit values for PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader. The 224-page hardbound volume includes black-and-white photographs, a dust jacket, and an insert containing SPI's Strike Force One: The Cold War Heats Up minigame.
