The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Munchausen

Parlor storytelling game in which players take turns narrating extravagant, supposedly true, adventures in the voice of an eccentric raconteur. Other players interrupt by challenging details with a token; the storyteller either disputes the challenge with a countertoken and a fresh explanation or accepts the interruption and weaves it into the tale. A handful of simple mechanics curtail overly long performances and steer play. Play proceeds until each participant has delivered a story; winners are determined when players hand over all their tokens to the storyteller they judge best, making the group’s vote decide the outcome.
