The Lost Temple of Forgotten Evil: Side Quests - River Crossing

A fantasy roleplaying side encounter follows a caravan crossing a river near the small town of Boldon, where dozens of people have gone missing. Local rumors point to a lost temple and the return of an ancient evil, while a broken drunkard offers fragmented clues about what lies beyond the region’s villages. The party investigates the disappearances, follows leads among those who know the area’s history, and uncovers information that can prepare them for a larger temple expedition. The encounter provides additional experience and intrigue, and can be adapted to other campaign settings.
