The Master Of Puppets
A dark and whimsical forest-crawl adventure for Old School Essentials, set in the perpetually dark Whispering Woods. Players explore 13 populated hexes and more than 50 keyed locations while searching for the Toymaker’s hidden workshop, encountering imprisoned demons, werewolves, possessed dolls, woodland wardens, and other hostile factions. The adventure includes two dungeons: a marble titan transformed into a werewolf den and the Toymaker’s workshop, defended by constructs and vulnerable demons. Random encounter tables and competing factions shape the exploration as the balance of power in the woods shifts.
