The Paladin's Path

A high-level, one-shot adventure for a solo paladin of 9th level or higher, or a party of 4–6 characters of levels 9–12, compatible with first-edition rules. The characters follow a treasure map to the tomb of the infamous anti-paladin Nils Grisgoth, who was buried with a powerful enchanted holy sword he could never wield. The tomb presents traps, trials, and deadly foes as the characters seek to recover the weapon. The paladin must remain true to the principles of Law while confronting the legacy of Grisgoth and the attack that destroyed a mountain monastery.
