The Swamp Dragon Cult

A fantasy roleplaying adventure for Shadowdark, set in and around the capital of Strasterton. The characters begin their adventuring careers by investigating a cult that has terrorized the city and nearby settlements, claiming protection from a dragon in the surrounding swamps. Hired by the authorities, the party gathers information from local NPCs, responds to an impending attack on Eight-Towers Keep, and tracks the cult toward its hideout. Along the way, they may encounter Azmagollellos, a dangerous black dragon. The adventure supports multiple approaches, with the characters' choices determining whether they become the region's rescuers or draw the dragon's wrath.
