UK Cynical Edition (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride)

An unofficial fan expansion that overlays modern British rail mishaps onto a familiar map, adding event cards that introduce bureaucracy, bad contractors, elections and meddling officials. Players continue to collect colored train cards and claim routes, but must also resolve new hazard and intervention cards that can add tunnels, cancel actions, remove built routes or override other players’ plays. The expansion mixes route-building with tactical disruption, forcing players to adapt plans, counter specific problems, and spend resources to reclaim or replace tracks. Components focus on event cards and rules that integrate with the base map and mechanics; setup and play use the core game's turn structure with the additional event effects.
