Valkolov The Mind-Wizard
King Torvin XIX rules the dwindling island kingdom of Inkstvarr, the last remnant of his mainland empire. Seeking a way to restore his fortunes, he hires Valkolov, the last known arcanist to inhabit a flying glass castle. With her castle tethered to the island, Valkolov investigates the supernatural disturbances affecting Inkstvarr while researching the mysterious purple clouds linked to the disappearance of the other wizards. The court must contend with sorcery, political ambitions, and a wizard whose concerns do not necessarily include the king’s welfare.
