Vast Grimm Core Rules

A grim, punk-flavored OSR role-playing setting in which a shrinking number of humans struggle as a parasitic cosmic corruption consumes the universe. Players create grotesque, desperate characters—cyborg survivors, drug‑addled biochemists, hardened scroungers—and manage resources, wounds, and moral tradeoffs as they pursue survival and fragile goals. Gameplay uses streamlined, OSR-style mechanics compatible with similar rulesets and emphasizes tense exploration, brutal combat, and hard choices rather than long-term recovery or heroic triumph.
