Viking Raiders

Players act as Viking chiefs competing to build the largest Navy, grow the biggest Clan and amass the most Loot over a series of turns. Each turn, players draw two cards that represent their clan’s activities—gathering resources, recruiting Vikings, preparing raids, capturing wandering Berserkers, or gaining favours from Norse deities. Players may take one action (such as raiding or spending a godly favour) and buy one item from a central Market using resources from their hand. Market purchases include ships, buildings and valuables that score victory points; some rarer ability cards appear occasionally. The first player to reach the agreed victory thresholds in Navy, Clan and Loot wins. Compact and suitable for casual play.
