Wings for the Baron

Players design and manufacture World War I aeroplanes using cards representing period technologies and random war events. Each turn, they secretly choose two actions: build factories, spy on opponents to acquire technologies, design an aeroplane, research for more cards, or bank assets against inflation. Actions resolve quickly and simultaneously, followed by scoring based on aeroplane quality and industrial capacity. A War Status card then alters the progress of the conflict. The game ends when the war does, making timing and efficient action selection important. A game takes about 30 minutes.
