Wok and Roll

Wok and Roll

Players develop menus and cook dishes by drafting results from a shared pool of six dice each round. The active player rolls all six dice and locks chosen faces, while other players may use the four white dice to form their own ingredient sets. Points come from assembling recipes, triggering special abilities on dice, and chaining combos to score efficiently. The game includes two menu variants, Simple and Expert, which change available recipes and strategic options.

Regelspørgsmål

Besvaret ud fra regelbogen af Ludoyas regelassistent.

Can I reroll dice I already set aside?

Yes. You may reroll any dice—including ones you set aside—up to two more times after the first roll, and you can lock your dice after either of your first two rolls. After the third roll, they’re locked automatically (p. 3).

Can everyone use the red dice?

No. The player who rolled may use all six dice, but everyone else may use only the white dice (p. 4).

Can I use ingredients from my Fridge, and do I have to use them all at once?

Yes, Fridge ingredients can help pay for dishes. In the Simple Menu, each player starts with five ingredients and one Recipe Book in the Fridge, each usable only once during the game; there’s no limit to how many Fridge ingredients you use in a turn (p. 4).

Do I have to cook dish servings from top to bottom?

Yes, servings must be crossed off from top to bottom. The exception is dish platters, whose servings may be crossed off in any order (pp. 4–5).

When does the game end—does everyone get to finish their turn?

The game ends during the turn when a player completes any three dishes or dish platters, and everyone continues playing until that turn is over. A dish is complete when its column is crossed off; a platter is complete when all servings in its outlined section are crossed off (p. 7).
