1861: The Railways of the Russian Empire

Players operate rail companies in mid-19th-century Russia, buying and selling stock, running trains, and expanding networks across a large map. The game features 16 minor companies that enter the market via auction during stock rounds and can be merged or converted into major corporations as the game progresses. A non-player government railway also runs on the map and influences strategic options. Play centers on bidding, route building, train management, and timing corporate conversions to maximize income and share value.
