24XX World Patch

A rules supplement for 24XX adds procedures for scenes where no immediate risk triggers a skill roll. The Situation roll reads a die from how settled or chaotic the fiction feels, then introduces Trouble, Signs, or Calm without requiring a tracker or resource pool. Additional frameworks cover NPCs through Behavior, Risks, and Obstacles, conflicts through Press, Shift, and Opening instead of hit points or initiative, and solo play through a Declare/Assess/Roll/Interpret loop. A question oracle and two-die Sparks generator provide answers, missions, and prompts without a GM. The rules are designed to slot into the existing system without replacing its core resolution method.
