Several factions struggle to rebuild and dominate a post-apocalyptic United States thirty years after a cataclysm. Players command a faction, expand their territory and assemble a new polity by playing cards that represent locations, leaders and infrastructure. Each card can be used in one of three ways: exploit a location for a one-time resource surge, establish an ongoing contract that yields steady resources, or integrate the card into the player’s state to gain its ability. Players assign workers to buildings, hire leaders and manage resources while making tactical choices about which cards to convert, contract or pillage.
