A Shattered Mind's Maze

A one-round adventure for 11th-level characters, set in the Eberron campaign setting. The operatives of the Crimson Codex must rescue Maldwick Roe, a fisherman’s son linked to the Draconic Prophecy and showing signs of an aberrant dragonmark. He has been captured by the twisted scholar Pinesky under orders from the imprisoned daelkyr Virulence. The adventure leads to the ruins of the Tears of Calinyar, a former stronghold shaped by the realm of dreams after its destruction in an ancient battle. There, the characters face Virulence’s powerful servant, a beholder, in a final test involving dangerous minions, warped environments, and clues to the Prophecy.
