Boot Hill (3rd Edition)

A Wild West role-playing game set in the American frontier, where players take the roles of cowboys, lawmen, outlaws, ranchers, and other Western characters. The rules cover character creation, skills, fistfighting, gunfights, horses, and genre-specific adventures, with the Judge directing play. Characters earn Stature for legal or illegal actions when news of those deeds reaches the community. Stature influences how non-player characters react and can attract rivals seeking fame. The book includes setting material, Western adventure guidance, contemporary illustrations, and maps of frontier countryside and a town.
