Play as an industrial magnate during America's Gilded Age in the northeastern Steel Belt (1865–1913). Players build factories, oil refineries, steel mills and connect them with canals, railways and pipelines while managing limited resources, credit and market demand. Actions include developing industries, expanding networks, selling goods to domestic and export markets, and taking loans to fund growth. The game uses an economic-network engine with tight planning and timing; players score by developing production chains and completing lucrative connections across the map.
