Catan: The Helpers

Twelve unique residents of the island offer special abilities that alter play and decision-making. Each helper grants a persistent or one-time effect—examples include reducing the impact of rolling a 7, relocating a road, or forcing the robber to move. Players draft or acquire helpers and use their skills to develop settlements and cities, manipulate the board, and protect resources. This scenario integrates into the base game’s turn structure and adds two new ability types and new character options to increase variety and strategic choices.
