Deadwood 1876

Players form loose teams while staying at one of three establishments in a frontier town and use cards from their hand to capture Safes moving around the board. Safes contain Gold, Badges, or Showdown Guns; players bid and play cards to win Safes for their side, then manage resources and roles as the game progresses. Badges grant extra turns near the end, and the team with the most Gold advances to a Final Showdown where teammates must fight each other using Showdown Guns until only one player survives. Gameplay balances cooperative objectives and hidden self-interest: pursue Gold to get the team to the Finals or hoard Guns and strength to survive the inevitable betrayal.
