Death's Edge

The village of Nerasi has come under attack while its defenders fight undead hordes in the Fields of Bone. Playing ordinary villagers rather than established heroes, a group of level 0 characters takes up weapons and protects the settlement and its people from the invading creatures. This short adventure is designed for Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition and forms the first part of a three-part campaign against the necromancer known as the Dark Mistress. Characters are created using the guidelines from “A Hero’s First Steps.”
