Players portray fallen angels who have defected from the God-Machine and now hide among humanity. They maintain false identities, evade the Machine’s agents, and uncover the clockwork conspiracies and hidden infrastructure shaping the modern world. The rules provide powers ranging from reality-altering Embeds to powerful demonic forms, along with details on angels, stigmatics, and the conflict between the God-Machine and the Unchained. The setting includes Seattle, where the Machine’s activities have distorted even the passage of time. Requires the World of Darkness core rulebook and incorporates updates from The God-Machine Chronicle.
