Girl Genius: The Works – The Siege of Mechanicsburg

This non-collectible card game depicts the great battle for Mechanicsburg. Each player uses a hand of cards to interact with a patchwork of twelve face-down cards, revealing and rotating cards to match colored symbols along their edges. Matching symbols cause cards to “pop.” Players resolve the popped cards’ instructions, then usually add them to their score piles and replace them from their hands. The game ends when a player reaches the required score, which varies with the number of players. Standalone decks can also be combined for longer games or larger groups.
