A roleplaying game set in Europe during the Dark Ages, where players create adventurers arriving at a Mediterranean port city to seek fortune. Rules cover character backgrounds, professions, equipment, combat, social interaction, religion, crime and punishment, politics, commerce, piracy, naval campaigns, medicine, and healing. Optional rules address situations such as infected wounds, drinking contests, and legal penalties. The game includes the fictional Ouesterlands setting, a political gazetteer, and a fold-out map of the region around Triente. Percentile dice are required for play.
