Hive Colony (fan expansion for Hive)

This unofficial collection of expansions for Hive adds new creatures and alternative ways to play. Venom introduces reversible pieces, requiring players to choose which side to use and spend a tempo to flip them. Swarm adds randomness by dealing pieces into players’ hands and can allow pieces to be placed for an opponent. Predators add creatures that can permanently remove opposing pieces, along with a victory condition based on removing the opponent’s Queen Bee. Guardians use flying pieces and require the Queen Bee to be fully surrounded, including from above. Honeycombo provides a shared piece that lets a player sacrifice a turn to make two moves on the next turn.
