Malifaux: Arachnid Swarm

Steampunk arachnids serve as durable melee units for Arcanist crews and can also support crews led by Hoffman or Leveticus. They make straightforward attacks, repair themselves, and use Disruption Field to affect nearby models. A swarm can Scatter, replacing itself with individual arachnids that activate separately but become Slow for the turn. Latch On allows these models to reduce an enemy’s Defense before attacking, while the Overwhelm trigger can punish opponents who fail to prepare for multiple attacks. Positioning and activation order are important when combining summoned arachnids with the remaining crew.
