Nightmare IV

Players confront a gothic horror scenario centered on a notorious historical vampire as they race to survive a time-limited encounter. An electronic audio/video component punctuates the session with timed events and narrated interruptions that drive the pace and escalate threats. Gameplay mixes cooperative and competitive elements as players move pawns through a modular board, resolve encounters with Fate and Time cards, and react to special Black Rose effects. Each playthrough uses randomized card sets and the timed media to create varied sequences of challenges and escalating danger.
