Quartermaster General: The Cold War

Three-player (or variable-team) asymmetrical strategy that recreates global Cold War geopolitics in a condensed playtime. Players control one of three Blocs—Soviet, Western, or Non-Aligned—and compete for influence across the developing world while managing military, espionage, and nuclear escalation. On a turn, players play cards to project influence, conduct covert operations, move forces, or trigger conflicts; escalation changes the costs and risks of using weapons of mass destruction. Cooperative or temporary alliances can form, but each Bloc remains an opponent and must balance aggression against the growing danger of retaliation.
