Salamis

An add-on module for War Galley: Naval Warfare in the Ancient World, this scenario depicts the Battle of Salamis during the Persian invasion of Greece. Players command Greek and Persian fleets in the confined waters of the Bay of Eleusis, where narrow entrances limit the Persian numerical advantage. The Greek fleet deploys in lines to meet the advancing Persians, while a separate force contests the western entrance against an Egyptian squadron. Combat centers on ramming and boarding actions, with Greek crews, armor, and land-based tactics opposing the larger Persian fleet.
