Sovereign Stone

The nations of Loerem—Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orks—face a savage invasion led by the supposedly dead Lord of the Void and his undead captains. Players take the roles of heroes from these and other races, preparing with sorcery and steel to oppose the Taan army. Characters use skill-based attributes and skills represented by different die types. Actions and spells are resolved by rolling both an attribute die and a skill die; characters can exert themselves for an extra die at the cost of stun points, while unfinished spells accumulate progress across turns. Each race has distinct cultural traits and an affinity for a particular form of elemental or void magic.
