This adventure for Das Schwarze Auge begins with an old promise: 80 years after a bandit chief entrusts an elven maid with the key to his cave, she finally delivers it to his descendant. Soon afterward, the young man disappears during a fire in his village. The characters investigate whether he started the blaze or was taken by the descendants of the betrayed bandits. A tactical mini-game has the characters battling the flames while trying to save the village’s harvest.
