Stonewall Jackson's Way

A strategic simulation of the summer 1862 campaign in central Virginia that places Union and Confederate corps, divisions and brigades on large hex maps based on period maps. Players move units, manage supply lines and depots, construct bridges, and conduct force marches, cavalry raids, flank attacks and grand assaults with daily turns representing one real day. Terrain effects (roads, turnpikes, railroads, rivers, bridges, fords, woods, mountains) and weather (rain) influence movement and combat, while fatigue, entrenchments and demoralization affect unit performance. Multiple scenarios range from short introductory battles to full multi-day campaign operations for one, two or team play.
