Sunset Empires

A historical setting for Kindred of the East, this sourcebook covers nineteenth-century China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia amid colonial expansion and political upheaval. It provides background on regional powers and conflicts, including the Opium Wars, the Great Mutiny and the Boxer Rebellion, for characters to take part in shaping the era. The book also includes period-focused character creation options, new P’o archetypes and martial arts, and guidance for Storytellers developing campaigns across the region.
