The Colonists: Ante Portas

This scenario expansion introduces combat mechanisms that let players battle the game or compete directly against one another. In addition to their colony and home country, players use a battlefield and a command center, built from hexes and accessed through its market. The command center provides the actions needed for battle: players construct buildings, traps, mines, and bombs, recruit farmers and citizens, train them as soldiers, and heal units after combat. It supports one to three players against the game, or two- and four-player matches in 1-versus-1 and 2-versus-2 formats.
