The Great City, Army Ward

The Army Ward is dominated by the Great City’s military camp, with barracks, training grounds, a city gate, and headquarters for generals and senior officers. The Circus Maximus draws gladiators, champions, bookmakers, merchants, and wealthy patrons, while inns and taverns serve the fighters and spectators. The ward includes a crowded arena with public and honor seating, a floodable floor for staged naval battles, and hidden quarters for gladiators. The barracks contain refectories, bedrooms, and armories, while the headquarters provides meeting rooms, cartography rooms, offices, and private quarters for high-ranking officers.
