Players use an 80-card deck with numbered ranks and two wild Jesters to jockey for social position by shedding their hands. Cards are dealt to all players; turns begin when a player leads one or more cards of the same rank to the center. Subsequent players must either play the same number of cards of a lower (better) rank or pass, with Jesters acting as wilds. When everyone passes, the last player to play leads the next trick. Rounds continue until all players have emptied their hands, then players are assigned titles by finishing order and may change seats to reflect the new hierarchy before the next round.
